Job Description
ROAD iD is growing, and we're looking for a detail oriented Sr. Shipping Associate to ensure the delivery of a remarkable customer experience via our Fulfillment/Warehouse management software tools. You’ll pull, pack, and ship items to customers within or before the promised time period. If any problems come up along the way, you’ll lead the way in eliminating any friction points by diagnosing and resolving shipping issues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mentor and act as resource for questions from Shipping Associates and Seasonal Shippers.
- Monitor all third party channels to ensure shipments are shipped on time.
- Pull, pack, and ship customer items.
- Assist with the organization of the warehouse and products.
- Review Fulfil sales exceptions, failed orders, and draft orders daily.
- Investigate issues, document notes in order timelines, and escalate unresolved items via Asana tickets.
- Address general order issues (cancellations, remakes, missing labels, expedited shipping requests), and monitor Slack/Asana and customer service queues for problems.
- Verify and resolve shipping exceptions in Fulfil, including failed pushes to Shopify, tracking updates, and channel-specific quirks (e.g., Chewy/DSCO).
- Monitor daily dashboard metrics (customer service holds, remakes, waiting orders, workstation issues, end of day manifest totals).
- Prepare and reconcile end-of-day shipping manifests (DHL, USPS, Chewy, UPS) against dashboard totals.
- Embrace and contribute to ever evolving fulfillment processes
- Ensure all mail is in designated areas and picked up before shift’s end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficient with Google Workspace, and instant messaging platforms such as Slack. Experience with Asana, or other digital project management platforms, strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working in Fulfillment, Shipping, Packing, and / or a Warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience working with third-party shipping channels or resolving carrier issues, such as tracking delays, shipment exceptions, or handoffs with external shipping partners, is a plus.
- Experience with Shopify and Fulful is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for prolonged periods and move items weighing 5-40 pounds.
- Able to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
